| Research Abstract |
本研究では、日中韓各国においてボラ、マハゼ、トビハゼを調査対象生物とした環境ホルモン汚染の実態調査を実施した。血中ビテロジェニン濃度、生殖腺の組織学的観察、および環境中の化学物質分析を行った結果、日本、韓国および中国の東シナ海沿岸域の大都市部周辺海域や工業・港湾地域において環境ホルモンによる汚染が確認され、魚類の繁殖現象に異常が起きていることが解った。また、本研究の目的のひとつである環境ホルモンおよび魚類繁殖研究に関する研究者ネットワークの構築も着実に進み、日中韓の大学、特に韓国済州大学と中国上海水産大学との間で、大学院生を主体としたセミナーや共同研究が継続的に行われる事となった。
