| Research Abstract |
本研究のテーマは, イギリス近世都市における生活基盤整備のあり方を, 代表的な地方都市であるノリッジを取り上げて, 主として都市財政の側面から実証的に明らかにし, 都市法人の果たした歴史的役割について再検討することである。その際, 研究計画としては, 研究期間の前半の2年間を主として史料の収集とデータベースの作成に, 後半の2年間を主としてそれらの分析と成果の発表にあてる。
