| Research Abstract |
クロマグロの末梢血白血球の貪食能、リゾチーム活性を明らかにした。また、自然免疫制御に重要な腫瘍壊死因子の遺伝子のクローニングに成功した。予期しなかったことに、クロマグロのTNFはこれまでの魚類では報告されてこなかった別のTNFを有することを初めて見いだした。さらに、これらのTNFの遺伝子組替タンパク質を作製し、白血球の貪食機能を活性化することを見いだした。
