Outline of Annual Research Achievements

航海で得られたコア試料の分析・解析を完了させた.得られた結果をほかの乗船研究者とともに検討を行い,特に,熱構造推定に影響を与える表層堆積過程について検討を行った.その結果,海嶺軸の海側,正断層で隆起した地点では,正断層による隆起後にタービダイト堆積が停止したという,昨年度の仮説がおおむね支持された.海嶺軸の沈み込みの影響を評価する上で,大変貴重な情報が得られた.
航海の成果を,ヨーロッパ地球物理連合大会(EGU),日本惑星地球科学連合(JpGU)・米国地球物理学連合(AGU)の合同大会で発表した.論文1編を投稿,1編を準備中である.
