Outline of Final Research Achievements

During the research period, he published 15 papers, gave 14 presentations including invited lectures, and co-authored three books. The majority of the research period was spent under the Corona disaster, and libraries and other research institutions in Japan, not to mention abroad, greatly reduced the opportunities for access to their materials. However, during the last two years of the project, when the conditions were somewhat relaxed, we made every possible effort to go to the field, collect original documents, and report our findings. In terms of research presentations, we were able to achieve results that surpassed those of normal times in terms of international exchange through active participation in online conferences.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

研究代表者のこれまでの主たる研究対象である魯迅、中国近代文学を、翻訳・雑誌メディアという従来あまり重視されていなかった領域から原資料を駆使して徹底的に再調査するという研究方法は、結果として小さくない成功を収めた。研究期間中に執筆した研究成果は、「研究発表一覧」にも示されるように多岐にわたるが、特に魯迅周作人文学の土台としての雑誌メディアにおける新発見や、中国の近代文学が意外な面で想像されるよりもより深い交流を有していた事実の発掘などは、本国中国の研究者からも驚きを持って迎えられ、３冊の価値ある研究書に拙文が収録されるなど、確実に高い評価を得ることができた。
