Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we applied the Actor-Network Theory to clarify the roles and relationships of multi-level actors who constitute food tourism in modern European rural areas, focusing on rural areas in Belgium. Functional segregation among actors was carried out based on the rurality shared by those actors across national borders leading to consistent food tourism promotion. A network structure based on such rurality contributed to the sustainability of food tourism.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
