Research Abstract	本研究では、人間活動が急速に増大した中国など東アジアとその影響を強く受けている西部北太平洋、および、産業活動が急激に増加しているインド(南アジア)においてエアロゾルの化学組成(有機・無機)を明らかにし、有機エアロゾルの生成・変質および輸送の特徴を明らかにすることである。また、エアロゾル粒子の水蒸気凝結特性に着目し、東アジア・南アジアにおけるエアロゾルの粒径分布および水蒸気凝結能力を観測および実験により高い精度で解明する。更に、エアロゾルの化学組成と吸湿特性の研究を総合化することによって、化学組成がエアロゾルの物理特性に及ぼす影響を定量的に明らかにし、東アジアのエアロゾルが持つ雲凝結核特性を定量的に評価する。
