Research Abstract

本研究は、バイオハザード対策専用防護服の使用に際して、種々のリスクに応じて使用者の安全を確保するために必要な防護服の性能評価方法と性能基準及び用途基準の策定を目的とする。
特に、呼吸器感染を起こす病原体に対する防護を重点項目とし、感染性浮遊粒子及び飛沫に対する性能評価を行なう。そのためには、性能について科学的な評価ができるシステムが必要であり、感染性浮遊粒子、飛沫に対する評価試験装置の開発、作製を含めた評価システムを構築する。
また、防護服の性能向上のために、抗菌作用などのある新機能素材の開発、評価を行い、その有用性を検証する。
それらの結果を基に、素材の特性を生かしたバイオハザード対策用の防護服を提案し、さらに防護性能と快適性を整合化し、使用者の生理的負担を考慮した適切な使用方法、用途基準及び性能基準を策定する。
