Research Abstract

(1)地域ベースで妊婦を対象に立ち上げた胎児期からの前向きコホート研究を継続し、環境化学物質の低濃度曝露による次世代影響の解明とメカニズムに基づいた予防医学的なリスク評価を行う。アウトカムは新生児～7歳で、特に近年増加傾向にある神経発達障害/行動異常、免疫系への影響、感染症とアレルギー疾患を検討する。
(2)具体的には、(1)7歳時までの詳細な発達行動検査に基づく神経発達影響と障害を評価し、ADHDなど広汎性発達障害の早期スクリーニングの有用性を検討する、(2)乳幼児期や学童期の感染症やアレルギー疾患に及ぼす影響など、(3)胎児期および出生後の曝露評価としてダイオキシン類、PCB類、有機フッ素化合物、水銀、有機塩素化合物などの精密測定を行い、環境化学物質の次世代影響のリスク評価を行うとともに、(4)環境遺伝交互作用の解明と予防医学的なハイリスクグループの早期発見、早期治療と療養への道を切り拓くことに努める。
