| Research Abstract |
本研究はこれまでパソで蓄積されてきた地上部の現存量及び成長量データに加え、地下部現存量や細根の回転率、撹乱による枯死木の蓄積と分解も考慮し、熱帯雨林の炭素収支を生態学的な手法で再評価することである。具体的には、(1)地下部を含むアロメトリー式の確立、(2)細根の現存量と回転率の実測、(3)枯死木の蓄積と分解過程の解明、(4)既存データを活用した森林の回転率増加の検証、(5)熱帯雨林の炭素収支の時空間的変動とその要因の解析を目的に研究を行う。
