| Research Abstract |
MRIなどに代表されるような広い分野で活用される磁気共鳴装置は、短寿命活性化学種の観測には不向きな装置である。この問題点の解決を目指し、最高でピコ秒時間分解能をもつ磁気共鳴分光装置を、レーザー光磁気効果を利用した原理に基づいて設計製作した。このような装置を用い、光化学反応や光物理過程で発生するスピン分極した常磁性分子の超高速観測実験を行い、装置の利点や欠点について総括した。
