Research Abstract

本研究では、多数歯欠損に関連したアジア人の疾患関連遺伝子やその遺伝子機能を明らかにする目的で、日本、モンゴルと中国の患者を対象とした家系調査と、その資(試)料を用いた遺伝子解析を行ってきた。具体的には以下の条件を満たす家系が対象となる。
1)第三大臼歯を含み口腔内に6本以上の先天性欠損歯を有すこと
2)症候群性の異常を合併しないこと
3)本人や家系内の親族がDNA(血液、爪)を含む資(試)料を供与してくれること
