Research Abstract	人間の営みに欠かすことができない塩を得る為に古代人が使用していた製塩土器を科学的に検討する為に下記を行う。 (1)製塩土器に製塩過程を示唆する化学物質が残留する可能性を実験製塩土器を用いて検討する。 (1)海水中に微量含まれている海洋性脂質、特にステロール類が検出・同定・定量できるかの検討。 (2)海洋性脂質の種類から製塩方法が識別できるかの検討。 (3)塩の主成分の一つである塩化物イオンの残留の可能性を検討する為の分析方法の開発。 (2)実験製塩土器を用いて確立した分析手法を古代土器に応用し、考古学的知見と合わせて古代の製塩土器を科学的に解析する。
