| Research Abstract |
教会分裂や異端問題に揺れた中世末に、カルメル会は国際的な知的エリート集団として活躍した。本研究では、15世紀初めにイングランドで活躍したトマス・ネッターとアラン・オブ・リンに焦点を当て、アランがマージェリーに行った聖書教育や霊的指導が管区長ネッターの不興を買ったいきさつを15世紀のカルメル会の霊性や活動、カルメル会の著作、典礼に関する図像的資料を通して検討し、カルメル会の霊的教育がマージェリー・ケンプに与えた影響を明らかにした。
