Research Abstract

軽度から中等度のアルツハイマー病(AD)患者に対してメチオニンPET(MET)とIMP-SPECTを施行し、後部帯状回(PCC)その他の領域の脳血流(CBF)と蛋白合成(CPS)を比較したところ、PCCのCBFはCPSより有意に低かった。このことより脳血流SPECTで認められるPCCの血流低下は実際の神経細胞障害の程度以上であると考えられた。またMETでADの神経細胞の障害を評価できる可能性が示唆された。
