Research Abstract

腫瘍選択的なアポトーシスを増強する薬剤の創製を目指して,TRAIL受容体のうちDR5の発現を誘導する化合物の探索を天然物(天然医薬資源)を対象に行った.強い活性が認められた7種の植物から,新規化合物9種を含む59種の化合物を単離した.また,単離した化合物のうちcardamomin及び4'-demethyltoxicarol isoflavoneは, TRAIL耐性細胞に対してDR5の発現上昇を通じてTRAIL耐性を克服することが判明した.
