Research Abstract

本研究は、連続量・量子情報処理の基本要素である、ガウス型量子状態の多モード・高精度制御の実現を目的とした。研究成果の一つは、モノリシック型PPKTP結晶によるスクイ-ズド光生成の実現である。これは、高レベルスクイ-ズド光の多モード生成につながる成果といえる。またもう一つの成果は、コヒーレント光に対するアダプティブホモダイン測定の実現である。アダプティブホモダイン測定とは、フィードバック制御を用いて従来よりも高精度な光の位相測定を実現する方法である。これは、量子状態の制御技術の確立につながる成果といえる。
