Research Project

Project/Area Number 19H00920
Research InstitutionThe University of Tokyo

Principal Investigator

キャンベル ロバート.アール  東京大学, 大学院理学系研究科(理学部), 教授 (40831318)

Project Period (FY) 2019-04-01 – 2020-03-31
KeywordsProtein Engineering / Fluorescence / Microscopy / Cell Biology
Outline of Annual Research Achievements

The goal of this project was to perform "Directed Evolution of a Palette of Optogenetic Indicators for Multiplexed Imaging of Cellular Metabolism" by using the Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (A). In this fiscal year, this grant enabled us to set up the laboratory for the study mentioned above. For example, we purchased a wide-field fluorescence microscopy, which Campbell lab is using to accelerate the development of a range of optogenetic indicators.
