Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Based on literature and on-site research concerning the pioneering European teaching career counselling programme (Career Counselling for Teachers (CCT)), the aim of this study was to translate the CCT into the Japanese context and develop a Japanese version of the CCT (Career Counselling for Teachers Japan Version (CCT-J)). The developed CCT-J was put into practice targeting Japanese upper secondary school students, pre-service and in-service teachers at the undergraduate and postgraduate level, and its educational effects and other aspects were analysed and verified. Based on the results, some modifications were made to the programme to take into account the characteristics of the Japanese people. Finally, the improved programme was released as a web version for dissemination.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究で開発したCCT-Jは、我が国では初めての、教職に特化したキャリアカウンセリングプログラムであり、教育的・学術的に重要な意味を持つと考える。最終的に Web版として公開したプログラムは、オンライン上で実施することが可能であり、高校や大学等の教育現場のみならず、教員研修等の場においても、幅広い活用が期待できる。今後は、CCT-Jを活用した教育実践を重ね、プログラムの普及に努めるとともに、横断的な教育効果の検証を行い、教員養成・研修に位置付けていくことが課題である。
