Outline of Final Research Achievements

We examined an educational program to train practitioners of reflection and created an explanatory video for beginners. In addition, by repeating the experiential training to acquire practical reflecting skills, it was confirmed that it would be possible to conduct reflecting interviews for people with mental disabilities and their families.
As a result of conducting reflecting interviews for people with mental disabilities and their families in persons and visiting the office, it was confirmed that the interviewees had the following effects: "It gives them an opportunity to get to know themselves," "they gain a new perspective," and "they change their perception of their family's behavior."

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

リフレクティングの基礎的な知識や面接方法を知ってもらうための教材を作成したこと、および、実践可能な状態に導くトレーニング方法を例示できたことから、リフレクティングの実践を目指す人の一助となる。
また、精神障害者およびその家族にとって、リフレクティング面接は役立つものでることが明らかになったことから、彼らの地域での生活を支える支援方法の一つと成り得ることが確認できた。
