Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
I have collated and had peer-reviewed, by relevant scholars including myself, all of the project members research outputs. These are now in final draft chapter form as academic research essays. I have sent all of these to Oxford Univ. Press (in April 2023) as part of a book proposal.
I have also coordinated work among the members, getting them to refer to each others research for this project. This is ensuring that the project sections thoroughly and critically relate to each other.
I have also written an overall introduction and summary for the project. This will be used as the introduction for the projected book.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.
Reason
Basically, Covid delayed this project by about a year or two, due to face-to-face meetings such as workshops and conferences being necessarily cancelled and flights being unavoidably cancelled. Nonetheless, the project is catching up with its objectives thanks to having extra time.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
This year I will visit the UK on a 3-month research trip to meet with project collaborators based there and in Europe. I shall also use that trip to visit libraries to gather final materials and to check bibliographic resources used so far. I also intend to publish the research as a book with a major university press. I sent a book proposal, in April 2023, to Oxford University Press and hope work on the book with them the rest of this year.

Causes of Carryover |
Covid caused 1 to 2 years of delays through cancelled conferences, flights, meetings, etc.
