| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We developed a digital guidance system that runs on tablets and smartphones using augmented reality for use in museums and related technology. We aimed to develop a system that not only provides information from the exhibitor's side, but also estimates the visiters's level of interest in individual exhibits and visitor's reactions to exhibits. We developed a user interface that allows users to easily retrieve information about exhibits they are interested in, superimposing technique to displaying information on camera images in real time, estimating method for visitors flow and interests, and a method to automatically search similar exhibits. The contents that applied some of the developed techniques were actually exhibited in a special exhibition at a museum, and received high evaluation.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
昨今，博物館においてもDX(情報技術による変容）の必要性が認識されている．特に博物館の教育機関としての役割を考えると，ディジタル化を進めることで利用者が必要とする情報を適切に提供する仕組みや，展示及び説明文が利用者にとって有益なものになっているかを展示者側が判断する仕組みがより容易に実現可能となる．本研究の成果は，来館者と展示者の双方に有益な情報提供を行うシステムの実現に貢献すると考えている．
