Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Based on the analysis and consideration of domestic and international psychological and pedagogical proceeding research results on noncognitive competencies, this study figured out teaching and evaluation methods for the development of noncognitive competencies in learning activities of Living Environment Studies, and proposed unit plans and lesson plans using these methods. We also developed model plans for Living Environment Studies. We presented the results of this study at academic conferences, wrote academic papers and compiled our papers into a book, and utilized them not only in university and graduate school classes which we teach, but also at in-service teacher training in each school and education center of prefectures that we worked as an instructor.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究では、近年、幼児教育で急速に関心が高まっている非認知的な能力・性質に着目し、生活科において非認知的な能力を育成する開発的な研究を行った。本研究は、幼児教育と小学校教育を接続・発展させる中核な教科として重視され期待されている生活科の理論と実践において極めて重要である。また、本研究の成果を大学と大学院の授業、現職教員の校内研修、および、教育センターの研修等でも活用した。それゆえ社会的意義も大きい。
