Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study is a kind of action research based on an idea of community-based rehabilitation. Tokunoshima-island in Kagoshima prefecture was selected as a field of the study. The self-reliance support council of the island and we were cooperatively carried out instructor training program three times and parent workshop program two time during 3year-research period. At the first research period, an instructor training program was held under face to face situation at the field. During the rest of research period, instructor training program and parent workshop program were held three times and two time respectively under distance learning situation by using internet. Both two programs were effective for psychological stability, acquisition of how to observe children, and how to teach children by using behavior analysis. Moreover, distance learning method showed its usefulness as regards this kind of trainings. this result will help us designing a same approach to another isolated area.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
地域の既存社会資源の再開発・機能化を目指した保護者支援プログラムとプログラム実施に関わるインストラクター養成プログラムを作成し、これらを遠隔方式により展開した。その結果を分析することにより、プログラムへの参加が参加者の心理的安定、子どもを観察方法、支援する際の知識・技術の習得に効果があることが示された。 このことにより、これまで地理的、経済的なハンディが存在し、保護者支援の専門家の絶対数少ない離島等における保護者支援の遠隔方式での実施の可能性が示されたいえる。
