Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we focused on an aerobic oxidation reaction with a heterogeneous catalyst and aimed to develop a highly efficient and environment-friendly catalytic molecular transformation process. As a result, we have achieved the development of a highly selective aniline-aniline cross-coupling reaction and catalytic intramolecular oxidative biaryl coupling of diarylamines.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
不均一系触媒は一般的に均一系触媒と比べて反応性で劣るため、不均一系触媒が実践的合成で活躍できる場は限られてきた。例えばC-H結合活性化では、高価な均一系触媒と過剰量の酸化剤を用い過酷な条件を要することが多く、不均一系C-H活性化反応の報告は少ない。本研究により、入手容易な不均一系触媒を用いアミノ芳香環の直截的分子変換を実現した。さらなる進展により不均一系触媒反応の新たな可能性を切り拓くことが期待できる。
