Outline of Final Research Achievements |
There have been only a few reports on the measurement of cardiac output during exercise such as treadmill running in soccer players, and little is known about cardiac output response during exercise, which may have important exercise physiological significance. In this study, we investigated the cardiac output during exercise in college male soccer players who had participated in national tournaments. There was a tendency for a positive correlation between AT and running distance. These results indicate that as the AT, a measure of a player's endurance capacity, becomes higher, the running distance during a game might become larger.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
アスリートにおいて運動中やスポーツ競技中の心拍出量と1回拍出量の動態についての詳細がほとんど分かっていなかった。さらにサッカー選手の試合での走行距離や速度・スプリント時間などの走行能力と、全身持久力の指標である最大酸素摂取量や嫌気性代謝閾値(AT)との関連と、さらに運動中の心拍出量との関連も未解明であったので、これらの解明が重要な運動生理学的意義を有すると考えられていた。 本研究の結果より、選手の全身持久力の指標であるATが高値をとるほど、選手が試合中により長い距離を走行することができることが明らかになったが、このことは選手のトレーニング法の開発などに役立つ知見であると考えられた。
