Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aimed to develop a situation-specific theory to describe the rehabilitation experiences of cerebrovascular patients living with dysphagia. The main findings of the study: (1) Extraction of elements of nursing practice for stroke patients with dysphagia: Semi-structured interviews were conducted with nursing practitioners working in a recovery hospital to clarify the status of nursing practice for stroke patients with dysphagia. (2) Development of a situation-specific theory for stroke patients with dysphagia: A situation-specific theory was developed by integrating the transition theory, literature review, and qualitative research findings. In the future, the situation-specific theory developed in this study will be refined and developed while also reflecting quantitative findings.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
