Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research developed a system to present roads that become impassable during floods for the purpose of presenting safe evacuation routes and evacuation timing. (1) As a detailed space flood level monitoring time-series prediction methods, water level prediction of monitoring locations based on flood analysis simulations of past heavy rainfall cases, using known observation data. (2) Developed prediction methods and parameter compensation methods using ensemble Kalman filters, (3) Developed a prototype of a presentation system and application for the measurement results, and conducted a virtual experiment and evacuation simulation using VR.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
