Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Brain information processing changes in real-time according to the action context, and has the purposefulness that favors the achievement of action goals. It is clear that exercise chnages brain function. However, in the context of purposefulness, we consider that tha change in brain fucntion during exercise is an active phenomenon of brain function for optimizing physical movement. Therefore, brain function related to physical movement may be optimized during exercise. This study investigated that the effect of exercise on modification of brain function by tha task of evaluating two perception pathways related to cognition and physical output in brain information processing. As a result, we demonstrated that exercise specifically improved phycical output in brain information processing. It suggests that exercise may modify brain fucntion to optimize physical movement.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
