| Research Abstract |
(1)本研究は、土壌圏を通過する物質収支を総合的に検討し、行方不明の物質(ミッシングシンク)と発生源不明の物質(ミッシングソース)を突き止めることを目的とする。
(2)ミッシングソースとしては、水分状態に連動する土壌からの温暖化ガス発生、いわゆるプライミング効果と呼ばれるCO2発生、水収支からの説明が困難な広域平原地帯の塩類集積問題、などの現象を解明する。
(3)ミッシングシンクで有名な炭素循環については土壌圏が吸収・放出する炭素の再評価を試みる。
