| Research Abstract |
(1)『新佛教』に寄稿する多くの仏教者の伝記的データを集約し、今後の研究の基礎資料とする。
(2)各研究分担者ごとの個別のテーマの考究。これについては当初は以下のようなテーマでスタートした。『新佛教』運動史、古河老川と『新佛教』運動の生成、高島米峰と社会的ネットワーク、『新佛教』における信仰の位相、『新佛教』をめぐる明治のメディア、加藤咄堂と修養運動の系譜、新佛教と宗教教育、日本仏教の「普遍化」への模索。
