Research Abstract

非平衡熱力学・乱流平均場・自己相互作用流体・ゲージ理論に関わる方程式について,質量保存や自由エネルギー減衰などの変分構造と自己相似性に代表されるスケーリングを用いて解の爆発機構を研究し,量子化・爆発レート・サブコラプスの生成・コラプスの衝突に関する統一的なシナリオの解明を進めた.特に高次元質量量子化の解明を進め,2次元のGel'fand方程式に関して代表者によって20年前に得られた結果が,自然で一般的な形で高次元に拡張されることを突き止めた.次に点渦系の平均場極限を分析し循環的階層という新しいパラダイムの確立という目標を得た.2次元のGel'fand問題で多点爆発するケースについてグリーン関数についての留数解析という新しい手法を開発することでハミルトニアンの臨界点と特異極限との対応が非退化性については正確であることを明らかにし,さらにモース指数についても計算を進めた.kinetic-transport理論から導出される退化放物型方程式の解の爆発機構についてはこれまでの研究から双対性,非平衡性を絡めた高次元の質量量子化爆発機構が期待されることが示唆されており,タイプIIだけではなく一般的な爆発点の有限性に関する照明の指針を得た.高次元爆発機構の解明はEuler-Poisson方程式・非線形Schr\"odinger方程式にも期待され共通するもので,退化放物型方程式に対応する研究が来年度以降の課題として有望視されている.双対変分構造では特に粘弾性熱方程式の研究を通して自由エネルギー減衰,全エネルギー保存,質量保存の関連で定常解の安定性を議論する手法を確立した.特に非線形項の解析性のもとで,極小と無限小安定の同等性を確立し,ヘテロクリニック軌道として力学的なヒステレシスが実現されることを明確にした.
