Research Abstract |
We have developed analytical tools for assessing safety margin of steel, concrete filled tube, and reinforced concrete high-rise buildings to huge earthquakes. The analytical tools can deal with deteriorating effect like P-Delta effect, local buckling, and strain softening in concrete material. Also we have developed low-cost techniques for satisfying safety demands for existing high-rise buildings.
