| Research Abstract |
セイヨウナシは樹上では完熟せず,収穫後の追熟を行うことによってはじめて可食状態になる果実である。この原因として,樹からの物質等何らかの要因すなわちtreeファクターが成熟を阻害していると考えられているが,その正体はいまだ不明であり、その解明には興味が持たれる。本研究では,樹上完熟性をもつといわれているセイヨウナシ'ミクルマス・ネリス',樹上完熟性をもつニホンナシならびに樹上完熟性をもたない'バートレット'を供試して,果実の樹上完熟を阻害するtreeファクターを解明することを目指すものである。
