Research Abstract

本研究では,力や変形に対して細胞が能動的に機能を変化させるメカノトランスダクション機構の解明という観点から,まず,生理状態の細胞内部の細胞骨格や核に生じている引張・圧縮ひずみや,それぞれの細胞内構成要素の力学特性を計測し,細胞内部の残留応力・ひずみ分布を明らかにしていく.そして,基質に生じた力や変形が細胞内をどのように伝わり,どのようにして細胞の機能変化を引き起こすトリガーとして作用しているのか明らかにしていく.特に血管の収縮・弛緩を担っている血管平滑筋細胞を対象として,細胞の力学応答機構の解明を目指していく.
