| Research Abstract |
本研究は、汽水域生態系の特徴である塩分の時間的・空間的変化に対してヤマトシジミとホトトギスガイを中心とした生物群集の動態がどのように変化するかを明らかにし、出水や高潮などの現象が生態系へ及ぼす影響を評価する。突発的な短い時間スケールにおける生態系変動と、数年単位の比較的長期の生態系変動の両方を押さえることで、将来に予測される地球規模の気候変動が汽水域生態系に及ぼす影響を示す。
