Research Abstract	本研究では、日本人英語発話データ(The NICT Japanese Learner English Corpus)に含まれる誤りを主な手がかりとして、日本人英語における実践的コミュニケーション能力(=通じやすい発話をできる能力)を記述することを目的とする。具体的には、語彙に焦点を当て、どのような語彙知識が不足、または正しく運用(認知)されなかったために誤りが生じたのか、各誤りの原因を推測し、その結果と発話の通じやすさのレベルとの相関を調査する。
