Research Abstract |
High precision magnetization measurements have been performed for Yb-based heavy Fermion superconductor β-YbAlB_4 and its related compounds in wide range of temperature(0.3mT〓B〓7T) and magnetic field(0.02K〓T〓300K). These measurements revealed its divergent temperature dependence in magnetization and T/B scaling in the temperature derivatives i.e., dM/dT. This observation clarifies the unconventional quantum criticality and zero-field quantum critical point in β-YbAlB_4.
