Research Abstract |
We developed the method for the evaluation of CD44 cleavage of matrix-invading cancer cells. By using this method, we screened chemical compounds and found several inhibitors for CD44 cleavage and matrix invasion. Furthermore, we established the functional role of CD44 in gastric tumorigenesis.
