Research Abstract |
In this study, to examine the physiological role of Rac on bone formation, we generated transgenic (Tg) mice that overexpressed L61Rac, a constitutively active form of Rac, in osteoblast using pro-α1(I) collagen promoter and examined the characteristic of Tg mice. Tg mice showed osteopenia due to inhibition of osteoblast maturation.
