Research Abstract |
The human peripheral blood contains fibrocytes that can differentiate into other mesenchymal cells, such as myofibroblasts and adipocytes . In this study, we examined the role of fibrocytes in cardiovascular disease. We suggest that fibrocytes are not the critical role in cardiovascular disease such as infracted myocardium, over pressure load and ischemic limb disease in a mouse model.
