Research Abstract |
We found that the distribution of various markers in central have been changed over time during tooth movement. In trigeminal ganglion, we found that microglia and astrocytes were activated during tooth movement. In addition, activated glial cells were localized around the Fos-positive neurons. The results of studies were suggested glial cells may have been deeply involved in noxious stimulation during tooth movement.
