Outline of Annual Research Achievements

近年、大質量星やコンパクト天体の連星系に関する観測的情報が飛躍的に増している。本研究では、近年の連星の知見を活かし、超新星爆発およびガンマ線バーストの爆発機構に迫ることを目標としている。当該年度は主に以下の成果を得た。
1. 近接連星による効果で外層を剥ぎ取られた大質量星の爆発計算を長時間行うことで、爆発物の一部が降り戻ってくるフォールバック効果の定量的評価を行った。このフォールバックを考慮に入れた元素合成計算や可視光の光度曲線計算を行った。
2. 上記で計算したフォールバックにより超新星爆発中心に存在する中性子星への加熱が起こることに着目し、X線帯域における光度をもとめた。また、連星へのフォールバック降着の時間発展について広い時間領域をカバーする物理モデルを構築した。

Reason

これまでのところ、近接連星系によって強い質量損失を経験した超新星爆発へのフォールバック降着の定量的計算についての論文などを出版した。後続論文も順調に準備が進んでいる。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

近接連星効果による影響を取り入れた超新星爆発についての長時間進化の計算ができたので、今後はこの計算を用いてマルチメッセンジャー観測の系統的研究を行う。将来的には具体的な観測提案の指標となる理論モデル構築を目指す。
