Rapid supermassive black hole growth revealed by multi-wavelength surveys

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

今年度は、eFEDS DOGs論文を無事国際誌に投稿をすることができた。これは、すばる望遠鏡HSCのSSPサーベイとWISE赤外線衛星で選択されたDust Obscured Galaxies (DOGs) というダストに埋もれた活動銀河核種族に対して、eFEDS X線カタログをさらにマッチさせることによって選出された、現状で最も大きなX線DOGsサンプルとなっている。X線の情報を利用することで、この天体のガスの埋もれ具合やAGN光度を統計的なサンプルで初めて議論することが可能となった。また、eFEDS非検出のDOGsも意味があり、X線で非検出であることから、DOGs周辺に存在する必要ガス量の下限値が求められたこともこの論文のユニークな結果の一つとなった。今後はレフェリーとやり取りをしながら本論文を受理まで持って行く予定である。
また、すばる望遠鏡HSCサーベイの一部フィールドとVLASS電波サーベイをかけ合わせたサンプルを構築することで、多波長の観測データを構築することに成功した。これらのうち可視光で非常に暗い天体はmassive BH候補天体であり、今後多波長データの強みを活かしてこれらの性質を理解していく。また、ある程度より明るい天体については分光フォローアップのすばる望遠鏡の観測提案が採択されており、今後サンプルの性質および分光赤方偏移が詳細に確定する予定である。
