Outline of Final Research Achievements |
To utilize the ocean space, crane lifting operations in the ocean are crucial for constructing offshore structures and installing facilities on the seafloor, and safety and availability of the crane lifting operation must be analyzed when planning construction. Co-operative multi-crane lifting operation with two vessels is often selected in order to lift the heavy susp. load. In such situation, the connection of the two vessels to the susp. load means that all actions taken on one vessel influence not only motions of the susp. load but also another vessel. A thorough understanding of the coupled dynamical mechanics is required when using a multi-crane lifting. We conducted both model experiment and numerical calculation to build new evaluation methods for the wave-induced coupled dynamics during the multi-carne lifting operation with two different displacement vessels.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
吊荷と浮体(作業船)との連成運動に関する力学的研究(3体問題)はすでに多く存在するものの、マルチリフト方式のような2隻の作業船と吊荷の連成運動を対象とした研究はこれまでは無かった。そこで本研究では、数値計算及び水槽試験を実施することで、マルチリフト方式を採用した作業船と吊荷の連成運動評価法を確立させた。また、その成果に基づき、マルチリフト方式を採用した作業船の自動位置保持システムの最適設計法について検討し、実用化への方向性についても示した。
