Outline of Final Research Achievements

Throughout the three years of this research, we focused on cataloging the Yoshinobu Tsukada Collection. In addition, we digitized a portion of the collection that we judged important and　made the digital images available to the public in the Library of National Film Archive of Japan. In the final year of the project, we held the symposium entitled "Film Historian Yoshinobu Tsukada: His Collection and Achievement" (at National Film Archive of Japan) on March 18, 2023, with a keynote lecture by research collaborator Haruhiko Honchi (Japanese film historian) on "The Former Collection of Yoshinobu Tsukada," and research results consulting the Tsukada collection were also presented to the public. In addition, we published a report book summarizing the research results, including the catalog of the Tsukada collection, on March 31, 2023.
