Outline of Final Research Achievements

In FY2020, we have developed learning programs and teaching materials that can be used as active learning materials, such as "Let's think and discuss! Workshop docoka", "Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake Storytelling Materials" and "Disaster Prevention Time Attack: Tsunami is Coming! In FY2021 and FY2022, "Disaster Prevention Education Program, Bird's Eye and Insect's Eye" was created as "educational materials for learning awareness and action. In FY2021 and FY2022, we developed "Disaster Prevention Education Program, Bird's Eye and Insect's Eye" as "educational materials for learning awareness and behavior. Research papers examining the effectiveness of the program were published in Disaster Prevention Education Research 2-1 and Social Contribution Research 6-1.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

防災教育プログラムや教材の開発研究は、単発的なものが多く体系化、標準化に基づいた研究はされていない。本研究は筆者らが防災教育の全国的な標準化をめざして開発した発達段階にそった体系的で具体的なカリキュラムに基づいた構築し、小学校低学年、中学年、高学年、中学校、高等学校ごとのテキストに準拠したアクティブラーニングを前提とした防災教材を開発し、検証した点にその学術的意義がある。
また、社会的意義としては、開発、作成した防災教育プログラム・教材はそのまま小学校や中学校あるいは高等学校などの防災教育において活用でき、防災教育の質の向上と普及に大きな効果がある。
