Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Facile synthetic methods for novel P-chiral ligands have been established for development of chiral 3d transition metal catalysts. The newly-developed methods are scalable and allow for introduction of diverse donor sites into P-chiral backbons. Complexation studies using a palladium metal as a model demonstrated that some of the developed P-chiral ligands have unique functions such as ability to generate a N-chirogenic center induced by chiral induction from the inherent P-chirogenic center.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
