Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Our survey and analysis using NDB Open Data revealed the actual use of anti-HIV drugs over a 5-year period from FY2015 to FY2019. Additionally, through a survey and analysis using JADER, we uncovered changes over time in adverse drug event reports among PLWH due to the development of new anti-HIV drugs and changes in cART recommended in treatment guidelines. This study demonstrates that the use of NDB Open Data and JADER enables a relatively easy understanding of the actual status of anti-HIV drug prescriptions and adverse event reporting throughout Japan, highlighting the usefulness of utilizing open data in this field.
