| Research Abstract |
平成24年度は、まず、平井、Marcuzzo を中心に取り組みコンファレンスを行ってきた「危機のなかでケインズを再考する」ことの大きな成果として、 Keynesian Reflections：Effective Demand, Money, Finance and Policies in the Crisis, ed by T. Hirai, M.C. Marcuzzo and P. Mehrling, Oxford University Press, 2013 が刊行された。
No Wealth But Life. Welfare Economics and the Welfare State in Britain, ed. by R.Backhouse and T.Nishizawa (CUP, 2010) を踏まえた和書『創設期の厚生経済学と福祉国家』（西沢・小峯編、ミネルヴァ書房）も間もなく刊行される予定である。コンファレンスを踏まえて、"Liberalism and the Welfare State: from New Liberalism to Neo-Liberalism", ed. by R.Backhouse, B.Bateman, and T.Nishizawa の出版準備を進めている。
３月18－20日に国際コンファレンス（第１部 "Welfare Economics and the Welfare State; Historical Reconsideration"、第２部 "Keynes Conference: Exploring Keynes from Various Fronts")を一橋大学で行い、合計20の報告が行われ、多くの研究者が参加し大きな成果があった。第１部については、国際査読誌の special issue の計画が進んでいる。
